What a great day for a hike!  There was quite a bit of humidity in the air but that did not deter us! Several of us had not seen the ruins in Island Ford so after our warmup hill, we made our way towards them.  We took our time exploring the boundaries of the old homestead and marveled at the ruins of the chimney and old stove.  Thanks to all of you who joined us in making this Thursday and every Thursday morning a special time! ~ Carol
