A bright, warm morning for our hike at Vickery Creek. Mikey's brother, John, joined us from California to complement the large number of regular members. We traveled to the Waller Extension area (a new trail for many of the participants) which featured a beautiful pass by the creek and a trek by Waller Park. 

The trail was anything but flat, but the group was well suited for the hike and stayed together well. The friendly banter on the trail was a testimony to the congenial nature of the group - - a result of successive weeks of companionship on Trena's "beginners welcome" Monday hikes. ~ Joyce
