Finally, finally, a cooler day for our Thursdsay morning Island Ford Hike!   Everyone started the hike bundled in jackets and gloves, but lo and behold, by the time we had completed the first 15 or 20 minutes of the hike, the jackets and gloves were off!  Temperatures were perfect.  Joyce remembered to take the picture from the get go so once intros were made, we were off and running.  Got in our 6 miles today with the cooler weather helping us maintain that quicker pace.  The only drawback was the smoke filled air coming from the fires in North Georgia! Could see the smoke over the river... Hopefully, those fires will be put out soon.  Great hike everyone!  See you next week! ~ Carol
