There was a good turnout for tonight's Urban Hike and movie in Sandy Springs . Ten hikers hiked 3 miles in an hour, with newest members Gail and Sima. Welcome to the AOC! Our hike included hiking through the Heritage at Sandy Springs which is the heart of Sandy Springs since 1984, up the hill, to a Halloween Festival, the amphitheater, and up to the Sandy Springs City Walk. When we reached the City Walk,  it was time for a brief pause to purchase ice cream from Baskin Robbins and continue hiking around the rest of the City Walk, up to Lake Forest Elementary and a couple of other spots before returning to the Lefont Theater. This was the last stop on our hike in which we stopped in to see the movie "The Inferno". Great group, awesome hike, ice cream, popcorn and movie! Thanks again hikers and I hope to see more people next Friday!
