Beautiful day - beautiful weather!  Forturnately, the wind was quiet and we had no smoky air to contend with.  East Palisades was as gorgeous as ever.  We took  the high road to the overlook and were rewarded with clear skies and a beautiful view of the river and beyond.  We aslo had some milestones  - Eric Pierce celebrated his 400th hike and it was Meghan's first official hike with the AOC.  We  made our way to the bamboo forrest which was a first for several of the hikers and then headed back to the parking lot.  What a great way to start the weekened!!!
