We're still keeping the trails warm for Trena who will rejoin us after Christmas. How lucky we were to get in such a pleasant hike before the much-needed rains come later today. Our pace was comfortably moderate, with several stops along the way to see watch some comorants and to take in views of the Chattahoochee.

I couldn't pass up several group photos at the various caves and on the steps by the pond. Our hikes are usually too fast to afford the time for group pictures, but today's hike was different - - and I really enjoyed it! ~ Joyce
