It was an awesome Adventure Sunday! The adventure started before the hike. While I (Erica B.) was at the carpool, I met TL Tom J. for the first time, saw Smitha and Chuck R who were on their way to the Amnicola Falls hike. Great to see you guys and meet Tom J. Next, the group for the Mt Yonah arrived 15 minutes early including our newest member Eme, nice to meet you! From there,  we were off to drive with no traffic to the Mt. Yonah trailhead where we connected with John D. and Paresh. As soon as everyone was situated, we were  off again for an awesome hike with some amazing views. As we made it to the second switch back of the first 2.5 mile ascent,  we ran into TLs Jason and Jerry C...Great to see you guys too! After we completed our nice ascent, were at the top of the beautiful Mt. Yonah. From there it was back down the trail to the 1st side trail for Pink  Mountain, that led to the boulder wall, a step non-trail and other interesting non-trails that we will have to explore another time. After making our way back to the main trail, Bunnie and Paresh helped to find the other leaf covered trail that was actually marked with Pink bands. This trail was the one that  led to the top of Pink Mountain. What an awesome trip, hike, and group of hikers to hike with.  I look forward to hiking with you guys again soon!
