You can't say this group isn't willing to do whatever it takes to get in their 6 miles! Because of the recent
snow and ice storm, Leita Thompson Park trails were taped off closed. But all seventeen of us were not discouraged as our able (and creative) leader, Trish, led us on the sidewalks along route 92, first west, then east, until the sidewalks stopped in each direction. (No telling where we would be now if the sidewalks hadn't ended!) We all made it back in two hours and safely. The sunshine along the busy route cut into the cold air and with the exception of a couple of ice spots the walk was clear. It felt good to get outside and stretch our legs (even if we weren't surrounded by trees) especially after this weekend when many of us were leery of venturing out. - Thanks for everyone's "can-do" spirit. - Lindsey
