Ah, we fiinally got outside after a weekend of being snowed/iced in after the weekend winter storm. Schools are still closed today, but the trails were open and the roads near Sope Creek were completely passable . . . so hike we did!
The temperature was in the high 20's when we started, but by the time we finished, we were into the balmy 30's. It inspired us to keep walking, so we took only a few short breaks and passed on stopping by the ruins.  
We welcomed a brand new AOC member today - - Katie. Hopefully, she'll join us on many future hikes. ~ Joyce
