The hike at FDR State park was a lot of fun today! It was a small group of three dedicated hikers for this event. We started at the FDR visitor center where we took a photo with the topless FDR statue. I am still perplexed by this. Anyway we headed past the visitors center, to the overlook (lots of fog), and to the blue/Pine Mtn. Trail where we hiked a nice 14 miles. Not only did we enjoy nature, a few drops of rain, tornado warning and great views, Alicia completed her first ever D5. Yay and congrats! I did not slow down for this event or take breaks, so we completed our hike in a little over 4 hours. Great job Alex and Alicia!
