Tonight was an excellent night for a walk around urban Sandy Springs. The weather was just right, and the sky was amazing after the "Snowmoon" from last weekend. With this in mind, a group of six us hiked around urban Sandy Springs. Usually we hike to the amphitheater and to Blue Stone, but the construction work led us to another path. We headed up to the Heritage, City Walk and turned up the hill at Mtn Vernon to see the Historic Sandy Spring's Cemetery. It was awesome! We found some very old graves, unusual tomb stones, beautiful trees and beautiful night skies. After the cemetery, we headed back to the Lefont Theater to complete our hike and see the movie "the Great Wall". Thank you hikers for an excellent evening!
