The 24 Gun Trail at Kennesaw is just a year-and-a-half old. What once was a difficult path through dense growth is now a clear, open, easy trail. Cannons along the way provide interest, as well as the luxurious homes that border the meadow. Poles aren't needed on this well-maintained trail, so it's sure to be well used by families as well as hiking enthusiasts who continue past our turn-around point to venture across Burnt Hickory to the more distant areas of the Battlefield. ~ Joyce
