We took advantage of Saturday's warm sunny midafternoon weather and had good time together on this ~7-mile "off-the-beaten-path" circuit of Stone Mtn that included several "hidden gems."  Among them... the lovely creekside trail between the Songbird Habitat area and the Cherokee Trail,  the Evergreen Resort's lakeside trail that branches off the Cherokee, the eastern shoulder of the mountain between the old Railroad Yard and the outdoor Quarry Museum, and the "Carillon peninsula trail" by the marina.
