This was one of the most unique, enjoyable urban hikes I've participated on! I didn't know where the new Braves stadium was located, nor had I ever even seen it! So to learn a route from Cochran Shoals along Akers Mill Road to the stadium was really exciting.  

We all loved standing across the street from the stadium, seeing all the hustle and bustle of the workers as they energetically work to finish the building by the first game - - April 14th. As we walk nearby, we could hear the loudspeaker system being tested . . . and there's no doubt everyone will be able to hear everything announced to the crowds!

This route was new to all of us, except for Trena. What a terrific hike it was!  ~  Joyce
