Our Earth Day hike on the Appalachian Trail yielded bountiful rewards: inspiring views, challenging climbs, and a camaraderie of spirit among our 13 hikers. Our leader Lisa helped us commemorate the day with gifts of sea shells personally collected by her.
Our hike ended with tired soles but lifted souls, and eight of us made the pilgrimage to nearby Yahoola Creek Grill for an additional celebration.
Many thanks to Lisa for being a great trip leader, mentor, and friend to all; to her and Mike for being our carpool drivers; and to everyone who attended for lending humor and a positive spirit to a memorable day.
