This, our second walk to the Stadium from Cochran Shoals, Interstate North, was even better than our first, because today, we were able to talk all the way around the stadium into the Battery area. Although none of the shops were open, we got a preview of all the exciting things to come.

If you check through the album, you, too, can get a look at what's in store for you when you visit the new stadium. It would be worth seeing even if a baseball game were not included.

A bronze statue of Phil Niekro at the entrance was a great tribute to one of the most famous Braves pitchers. It was just being installed as we walked by.  ~  Joyce
