Undeterred by the threat of storms on Sunday, 10 AOCers made the short journey to Pine Mountain in Cartersville to tackle the mountain and a side trip to the Corp of Engineers Visitors Center. Starting in abundant sunshine, we enjoyed a trek through a divserse forest environment and climbs to scenic vistas atop the mountain and at the VC. We got a little rain on the return journey-- but not enough to dampen our day.
