What a great way to spend a Tuesday morning!  We had a great group for our hike at East Palisades.  We crisscrossed the park from one end to the other.  While it was a little muggy, the group was able to power through all 3 climbs we had planned.  Between the climbs we were able to spend time down by the Chattahoochee including a visit to the bamboo forest and views of the Herons.  Thankfully, the forecast showers did hold off so we only got wet from the typical Atlanta humidity.

We did have a few people relatively new to the AOC hiking with us this morning.  Janice M was on her 3rd AOC hike and Agnes H was on her very first AOC event.  Welcome!

All in all, a great day at East Palisades.
