Did you have rain today? Well, we didn't! We had another beautiful morning for our weekly hike at Island Ford. It was hot, though, and we were dripping with sweat once we got up the warmup hill. (Eric P. joined us today, so he kept pace with Susan and Russ as first ones to reach the top.)

We welcomed Laurie into the AOC today. She travelled all the way from Alabama to join us! Savon also joined our Thursday group today - - sadly her last event for a while as she has to return to Texas.  

Nine of us headed to the North River Tavern after the hike, where seven of the group tested the AOC Mmmm Burger. We all gave it a big thumbs up. it's delicious! ~ Joyce
