Heat and humidity were the themes for today but as we made our way around the numerous trails of Island Ford, we still managed to get in 5 1/2 miles with about 800 feet of elevation - quite a task with the temps reaching the high 80's by the end of the hike.  Plenty of folks were wringing out their clothes by the end of this hike!!  Suzanne brought out some donuts at the end of the hike to celebrate Joyce's upcoming birthday!!!  River Tavern was closed for the week due to some filming so a group of individuals made their way over to Lucky's to continue with the after hike lunch and celebrations:)  Thanks to you all for hanging in today - what a great group.  See you next Thursday!
