Wonderful hike today at Sweetwater Creek State Park - 16 hikers in total.  Two very new hikers to the AOC (this was their second hike with AOC) Vaibhav - attends Georgia Tech and is very far from his home in Mumbai, India.   Tim - attends university in Houston and is also far from his home in Hong Kong - Tim flew up to Atlanta from Houston for a few days vacation and found the AOC.  

10 miles - the red trail along the creek is always a favorite and today did not dissapoint.  THe water was high and moving fast, such a sweet soothing sound.

We were hot, sweaty, exhausted - but a wonderful group of people to spend my 4th with.
