What an excellent group joined me this morning at West Palisades! Other than a l-o-n-g uphill trail at the beginning and a l-o-n-g ascent on the road from the beach, the hike was easy, rolling hills. We had no stragglers so we were able to keep up the moderate pace and finish in under two hours.

We were honored to welcome Jaime into the AOC - - Yurby's husband. We hope to see him again on future hikes.

The weather cooperated beautifully. Those there were predictions of some rain, we made it through the entire hike with just overcast skies. Of course, we were fine with keeping things on the cooler side! ~ Joyce
