On the way over to the hike, the song "Rain, Rain, Go Away" kept running through my head!  Well, apparently it worked as we encountered no rain whatsoever!!  Definitely had the humidity factor going and by the end of the hike, we probably would have enjoyed a couple of rain drops but....  We managed to maintain a nice little pace  throughout the hike covering a good 5 1/2 miles this morning.  This was with several water stops along the way.  As we were nearing the end of our hike while cruising along the river bank, we were rewarded with what felt like a little AC.  Would like to welcome Michael S. to the group - a recent transplant from the Chicago Area!  Hope to see everyone next Thursday:)  ~  Carol
