An unusually small group today (eclipse morning), but that didn't keep us from having a great hike, covering over 5 miles with over 600 feet of ascent. During our hike, we came to the cliffs, which were not blocked off on the far end . . . so we decided to cross them. It was a bit challenging in places, but we all made it across without mishap. The trail there was surprisingly well worn, so folks have been using that route quite regularly.

Trena's popsicles at the end were terrific, as it was an ultra hot, muggy morning. ~ Joyce
