Well, we promised heat and humidity and that is what we got. Who would believe it's Sept 21 - it felt more like the middle of July. A big congratulations to Bill L. on his 200th hike. We honored him by doing his favorite warmup hill not once but two times! Would also like to welcome Judy B. on her first AOC hike. She had no problems whatsoever keeping up with our group. We didn't do the lollipop trail today instead enjoying the trails on the parking side of Island Ford. Eight hikers kept the festivities going by heading over to North River Tavern.
