We did a lot of hill climbing today! Several of the group had never been to East Palisades, so we covered the park from the overlook deck, to the bamboo forest, then past the cave, up a long, long hill, down the hill by the cliff to the dog park and back up to the parking lot. We hit 6 miles and (according to Eric's GPS) hit 1,000 feet of elevation on the hill back to the parking lot. It was a great morning hike - - a bit humid, but nothing this group couldn't handle! ~ Joyce
