It was a day of celebration! In just over a year, Holt has not only accumulated 100 AOC events, but he became a trip leader in the process and has gained a loyal following. His hikes are always peppered with historical information on the areas he frequents and those areas are varied and interesting.

Holt got an orange and navy commemorative rock (Go University of Virginia!) to serve as a memento of his fine achievement with the club.

Shirley brought Fat Tuesday beads for everyone which added a festive touch to the hike. (Shirley, Mikey H., and Joyce were on Holt's very first AOC hike in November 2016 - - at Morgan Falls.) ~ Joyce
