Oh, wet, muddy trails today at Vickery Creek. Yesterday's rain did its damage, adding lots of mud to the rooted and rocky trails. Fortunately, the rains had stopped well before our hike, so we stayed dry . . . and our hiking poles helped prevent us from slipping. But conditions were not ideal! We're looking forward to dryer trails later in the week. ~ Joyce
