Thank you to everyone that joined me on this new adventure!

We couldn't have asked for better weather for the event. 

Our hike started at the East Lake Marta Station, where we headed west towards Downtown. Along the way, there were many groups trying to recruit us to sign up for this program or that program. There were also many other groups offering a few freebies - water and protein bars. I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed with the event itself as I had expected more offerings of food and drink. The few venues that were offering food, the lines were too long for our schedule, so we passed.

Once we reached the 4 mile mark at the MLK Station, half the group turned around and went back, the other half went on to the Five Points Station, where there were promises of more... Wanting to keep to schedule, I opted to walk back with the group. We were pretty pleased when we ran into a King of Pops cart and were able to get a sweet treat for our trek back.
