With considerable rain, isolated thunderstorms and flood warnings in affect, a group of brave hikers drove with their windshield wipers on in hopes of getting a good hike in, even if poured the whole time. These folks were determined. As luck would have it, we were rewarded with a very nice, fast, 6.2 mile hike that we completed in just under two hours.  The woods were tropical with visible humidity at times and the sun shone through the leaves at other times. All in all a beautiful morning we were thankful to have not missed.
