We had a great group for our summer jaunt at Sope Creek.  We stayed on the east side of the park but were able to see several lesser seen ruins in the park including the abutment for one side of the former dam on Sope Creek where water was diverted to power the paper mill in the 1800s. 

We finished our 4 mile hike in 1:35 hours and still managed to squeeze in about 450 feet of gain. A good pace even with the humid weather.  ~ Holt
