The weather gods were very kind to us on this beautiful Sunday paddle in Tennessee. Though thunderstorms were forecast, we managed to enjoy our trip with only about five minutes of light rain just as we reached the take out. Not long after that the heavens opened, but we were already happily located nearby on the porch of Flip Flop Burgers, having a late lunch.

The overcast skies kept the temperatures nice and cool and our group had a great time enjoying the various rapids and beautiful scenery along the way. Aaron also managed to paddle ahead and take some great pictures of the group on the final, largest rapid of the day. 

There's a reason why so many of us love this stretch of river. Hopefully we can do it again sometime soon!
