We had a great group for our hike of the Interstate North trails of Cochran Shoals.  We enjoyed the warm up on the multi use trail near the river and then crossed the pond (very high compliments of the local beavers) before heading up our first hill of the day.  We saw two bucks along the way up the ridgeline.  A few more decents and climbs and we arrived at Terrell Branch where there were some beautiful views of the creek.  We finished back on the multi use trail and our cars.  We squeezed in 4.5 miles in a quick 90 minutes of hiking.

We had two newer members of the club on the hike today.  Paul was on his 4th AOC event and Kelly was on her second.  Welcome!  ~ Holt
