Well we celebrated Friday the 13th with a 4.5 mile hike at East Palisades.  We hit most of the corners of the park splitting our time between the ridge tops and hiking down by the river.  We enjoyed the free sauna this morning at East Palisades (man it was humid) and also got to appreciate the extra challenge of navigating several rather large fallen trees that blocked our way in several places.  But we made it intact. 

A special welcome to several relatively new AOC members on the hike this morning.  Karen and Tom were on their 4th club event and Marsha was on her very first AOC event.  Welcome to each of you and we look forward to seeing you on futher AOC events.  ~ Holt
