Just as we had hoped, the rain held off to allow us a dry hike. Because of the overcast skies, the temperature remained moderate and the humidity was actually bearable.  

We were treated to the sighting of a group of velvet bucks grazing close to the trail, and then treated (by Trena) to frozen popsicles after the hike! Double pleasures.

Great to have Margaret back on a hike after over a year away from the AOC! ~ Joyce
