The rain bubble was certainly not protecting us today! We had rain - - never terribly heavy - - from beginning to end (though the rain stopped toward the very end of our hike). We took to the streets, making it an urban hike - - with lots of hills. The exit from Island Ford was onto Northside Drive. That's where Northside Drive ends! The neighborhood is really pretty, with lots of beautiful homes, so the two hour hike passed quickly.  

We had 11 people on the hike and 12 at lunch! Those twelve included three D-Zero hikers (Larry, Bob, and Dan). The three muscateers couldn't miss the NRT hamburger specials! ~ Joyce
