Well, no celebrations today but that did not deter this group. Prior to the hike, we saw a memorial  behind a tree at the Hewlett Pond Parking lot (I'm sure Joyce will post some pictures). Temps were not quite as high but the humidity was ever present and by the time we had gone around the pond and up the warm-up hill, we were all somewhat glistening:)  Susan was first up the hill today followed closely by Bunnie. Today we did manage to go completely around the Lollipop Trail which was a nice change.  Following our hike, Joyce pulled out her popsicles while others went to various "trunks" for their post-hike refreshments!  Hope to see everyone next Thursday morning:) ~ Carol
