Our group hadn't been to Old Rope Mill in months, largely because of the excessive rain that frequently closed the trails. It was great getting back to the park, though we had to share the trails with several cyclists.  

It was great seeing John E. with his new dog, Smokey, a young Australian Sheep Dog. Summer checked him out and ultimately gave her okay to have Smokey share the group with her.  

Also a treat were our two new members, LuAnn (on her second AOC hike) and Bob S. on his . . . hmmmm. . .either first or second hike. We welcome them both and look forward to having them join us regularly.

The popsicles after the hike were so refreshing. Thanks for buying them, Pete, and for keeping them frozen for us, Trena. ~ Joyce
