We had a great group of 17 hikers for our hike on the Interstate North trails of the CRNRA.  We started out from the parking lot on the multi use trail before quickly departing for the hills that comprise the Interstate North trails.  After crossing the swamp on the boardwalk it was up, up, up.  After reaching the ridge line summit, it was a sharp down and then off on some of the lesser used trails connecting us to Cochran Shoals.  Lastly we finished back on the multi use trail by the river and back to the parking lot.  We finished our 1.5 hour hike on time and covered about 4 miles.  

A special shout out to Diane who was on her 3 AOC event.  We look forward to seeing you on future AOC events.  ~ Holt
