The hike said "beginner's welcome" but because of our group and the shape we are in, this was not a "beginner's" hike.  We started off at Sope Creek elementary school parking lot and went through the neighborhood for a while and then to the trails.  I think we were in Cochran Shoals more than Sope Creek but, whatever:). We had a great hike with a great group of folks covering around 5 miles!  Hints of Fall are in the air;  we did get a slight, cool breeze periodically.  So, thanks for joining us on this Labor Day weekend. ~ Carol
