I missed my faithful co-lead, Carol, this morning. I feel so much better when she's sweeping and making sure everyone in front of her is safe. She'll be gone one more Thursday, and then we'll be good again!
We were beyond lucky with the weather today. I alerted the group to check their emails for a cancellation this morning, based on last night's forecast of 65% thunderstorms during out hike; but the front broke apart, giving us clear weather (even sunshine at times) throughout the hike.  
Members clocked in about 5.5 miles and over 750' of elevation during our 2 hours. We felt that was pretty good for our ultra-humid morning. ~ Joyce
