We had 11 brave souls on this morning's hike.  It was humid but not a drop of rain.  We visited all the regular sites including the bamboo forest, dog beach, etc.  We also visited the observation deck overlooking the river.  The group was up for the challenge so we did the BAH.  We lost no one on the way up and everyone enjoyed the heart pumping climb. 

We kept a pretty good pace so we decided to add a bit to the planned hike to visit the big rock face and adding perhaps an extra 3/4 miles to the hike.  We still finished only about 5 minutes beyond the planned 2 hours, finishing our 5 mile hike with over 700 feet of elevation gain.  ~  Holt
