We had 18 hikers today on our hike at Gold Branch.  We had a few sprinkles during the hike but our group was not dissuaded.  Our hike hit all the corners of Gold Branch and criss-crossed back and forth over the ridge line to cover about 4.5 miles and about 500 feet of elevation.  With the cooler temps today, we enjoyed the time we spent down by the river and the views were fantastic.  The group all hung together during the hike and finished a little earlier than our planned 2 hours.  ~ Holt
