What a day to celebrate! The weather was perfect for our festive hike today which celebrated the centennial hikes for Mikey, Casey, and Bill. Each one of them went to great pains to assure that their special events fell on this Monday morning hike - - and we were beyond happy to honor them with pictures, bandanas, rocks, and cupcakes! CONGRATULATIONS to all of them. Mikey even registered his daughter Casey for the hike so that she could be with him on this special day!  

We had a great hike, going through Sope Creek to the bathrooms at Columns Drive, and back through the beautiful privit-tunnel path near Sibley Forest. Sope Creek was the location of Casey and Bill's very first AOC hike (with Trena) so it was the perfect place for today's special event. ~ Joyce
