No Carol today!  :-( But Shirley volunteered to sweep, so our group was well-supervised. The weather folks played tricks with the rain bubble, so the sunny skies gave way to potential rain. In order to avoid getting wet, we ended the hike a half hour early, so all was well.

We welcomed a brand new member, Shayna, to our group, and she loved the group and the hike. And another relative newcomer, Del, joined our group today. Both handled the hike without difficulty. One of the nicest things about our group is their willing acceptance of new participants. We hope to see Shayna and Del again soon!

We were excited to spot two deer feeding on some corn that was obviously spread in the meadow for their consumption. They stood their place long enough for us to take a couple of photos. ~ Joyce
