Well just like Holt did on the other event today (Dec 17th) we earned our keep with that paddle event! Not only did we battle the normal up river current, we noticed that the dam at Lanier opened up while we were out there adding 3 feet of water on the shoreline where we launched! Thankfully we had 60 degree temps, lotsa sun, saw tons of ducks, geese and a massive beaver family (AKA Chattahoochee River Dags) that made the paddle that much more enjoyable! Perfect December afternoon on the water = PRICELESS!
