How lucky we were to get in our hike - - the last one of the year - - without a drop of rain. The trails were certainly wet and muddy in places, but we were all prepared with our proper shoes and poles, so we made it through the hike without any slips or falls. I led the group along the slippery, muddy trails and then turned the lead over to Holt, who found the beautifully dry paths to finish our 5.5 mile trek. It was great to celebrate the last day of 2018 on the trails with a group of good friends. ~ Joyce
