Write Up:
It was a hot day with highs in the mid 90s, but we had a fun time at Vickery Creek.  We started out with a 2 hr/5 mi hike through the park, then moved to the dam/waterfall area and really cooled off.   Most of us waded a bit in the water while others just relaxed on the rocks and enjoyed the nice views.   A few swam up and sat right down in the bottom of the falls (see pics).  After about 45 min there, we made the short walk back to the trailhead.    This turned out to be a great intown summer hike and we hopefully do this one again soon.- Tony


It was fun hanging out with everyone and meeting new peeps!
