Today we had a rare weekday afternoon hike which was dictated by the recent weather.  Powers Island is an area full of history which made for an interesting hike.  We hiked all of the trails in the park and added a bit of off-trail including a hike around Powers Island itself to round out our short 3 mile hike.  We had two brand new AOC members on today's hike.  David and John, welcome and we look forward to seeing you on future AOC events.   ~  Holt
