The day started out nippy with many of us questioning what layers we might need and some wishing they had brought their gloves.  BUT, as all March days seem to go....it warmed up and our weather changed from cool, cloudy, moody - to pleasantly warm (not too much), lovely blue skies, and cheerfulness.  We completed a 13.2 mile trail with 2665 approximate elevation gain.  Waterfall requirements were met.  Creek crossings were entirely tolerable.  Deer, raccoon skull, catfish.  A very good day at Cloudland Canyon!
